The Short Cinema Festival X Trophies Plus Medals
We’re thrilled to announce our partnership with The Short Cinema, Leicester’s international short film festival, held annually at the Phoenix Cinema and Art Centre.
In June 2024, we had the privilege of supporting this incredible event and celebrating the creativity it showcases.
The Short Cinema Festival
The Short Cinema is a renowned film festival that began in the backroom of a pub as a platform for Midlands filmmakers.
Over the past eighteen years, it has grown into a major cultural event, celebrating both local talent and global filmmakers. Despite its growth, the festival has stayed true to its grassroots ethos, supporting local cinema while offering a stage for international talent.
This festival offers audiences a chance to experience creativity, innovation, and storytelling at its finest. Each year, a panel of judges—experts from the UK’s film and screen industries—select winners across categories such as Best Performance, Best Short Documentary, and Best Animated Short.
About the Partnership
To honour this year’s exceptional filmmakers, we provided bespoke UV printed awards. Crafted from responsibly sourced bamboo, the awards align with our shared values of sustainability and artistic recognition.
