Die-Cast Medals
Die-cast medals start with a mould made specifically for your design. Molten metal is cast into this mould to create the overall shape and any raised or recessed details.

Q. How much is it going to cost to create my own bespoke medals or badges?
A. Bespoke medal pricing depends on your design, quantity and chosen lead time. Size, thickness, plating and ribbon style all influence the final cost. Smaller, simpler medals can start from under £1 each with our economy lead time, while larger or more detailed designs will be higher. We’ll always provide a clear, itemised quotation before you commit.
Q. Will I have to pay a set up fee?
A. A setup fee applies to your first order only, covering the production of the custom metal mould block used in manufacturing. This mould physically shapes the molten metal into your design. Once made, we retain it for future runs, meaning there’s no mould fee on repeat orders unless you change the artwork. Plating colours can be adjusted without having to create a new mould.
Q. Do I have to pay for a design service?
A. Not at all. Our in-house designers provide a free design service, including unlimited revisions. You won’t need to pay or commit to anything until you’re happy with the final approved design.
Q. Is there a minimum order requirement?
A. Yes, the minimum is 100 pieces per design. The good news is that you can split this across different plating colours - for example, 50 gold, 25 silver and 25 bronze.
Q. How long does production take?
A. After your design is approved and payment is made, your order will usually arrive in 5–8 weeks on fast track or around 12 weeks on our economy service. We’ll always confirm expected delivery dates in your quote.
