5) The Ashes
The Ashes is the cricket trophy awarded to the winner of the 5 test matches between England and Australia. It might not be glamorous like the FIFA World Cup Trophy, but it certainly comes with more history.
The Ashes came from a satirical British newspaper that declared the “death” of cricket after Australia won the Oval in 1882. The fake obituary declared that "the body will be cremated and the ashes taken to Australia".
